H. P. Pilots Throw Meter We now have a meter to meet all of your needs. They make setting your control surface throws easy and accurate. The 3D Pro meter can be used on your elevators, ailerons, and flaps. The 3D Pro meter goes to 90 degrees. Contains 2 ball bearings, a magnifying lens and UV protected photo-quality paper. For rudders we have the Standard and Large Rudder meters. The Large can be used on any plane but is intended more for the large aircraft. The meter will work on planes with a top rudder or stab surface of 2 1/2 inches and up to the biggest of the big-scale and swings to 85 degrees. It will work on flat as well as airfoil-shaped fins. If your rudder does not have a counterweight the meter comes with a clamp-on pointer. You can use the meters in combination with each other. This allows you to easily set all of your control surface needs such as mixing, dual rates, deferential, flaperons, etc... All of our meters have laser cut pieces and come with a conversion chart that allows you to easily convert degrees into inches or millimeters. |
